Carleen Lyden Walker, Co-Founder and CEO of NAMEPA, expressed her enthusiasm, “We are thrilled to award Adriana the NAMEPA Maritime Sustainability Passport and Seal. Her dedication to integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies into both her academic and personal life sets a stellar example for future maritime professionals.”

Adriana shared her reflections on the program: “I am delighted to have completed the Maritime Sustainability Passport certification. The program’s focus on personal sustainability standards alongside maritime-specific knowledge in waste control and responsible governance has been incredibly enriching. It has spurred my commitment to pursue a career in offshore renewables and the decarbonization of the maritime industry.”

The MSP Seal was awarded to Adriana after she successfully completed all program phases and provided comprehensive documentation supporting her ESG commitments. Her application was meticulously evaluated by ESGPlus LLC, ensuring she met all the rigorous criteria set by the MSP program.

The NAMEPA Maritime Sustainability Passport (MSP) Program remains the only assessment program designed specifically for the maritime industry featuring all three elements of sustainability- the E, the S, and the G. Since its launch in 2020, many companies and individuals have matriculated through the program and earned their Maritime Sustainability Passport® (& MSP Seal.

The Maritime Sustainability Passport® (MSP) Program was developed by the North American Marine Environment Protection Association and ESGPlus LLC  as an innovative ESG assessment tool tailored specifically for the maritime industry. Launched in June 2020, the tool enables companies, associations, educators, and individuals in the industry to evaluate their adherence to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.
