October 25 @ 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm
The New CSR: Ethical, Strategic, Sustainable
Thursday, October 25th 2018
Aboard the Hornblower Infinity: Pier 40, New York, New York
Our marine industry is changing at an unprecedented rate, with societal demands driving regulatory requirements driving technological change. A vital component of this change is to evaluate not just the “what” we do as an industry, but also the “how”. With an operating climate that is increasingly transparent, industry needs to match that transparency.
To guide the discussion, NAMEPA is dedicating this year’s annual conference to “The New CSR: Ethical, Strategic, Sustainable” which will underscore how Corporate Social Responsibility can benefit companies and the industry at large. Key speakers include RADM John Nadeau of the US Coast Guard, Donald Roussell of Transport Canada, and Cargill’s Jan-Willem van den Dijssel, who will share expectations and strategies for meeting the myriad of demands in today’s maritime environment.
Following the conference will be a brief NAMEPA Annual General Meeting before the NAMEPA Annual Awards Reception and Dinner, recognizing the achievements of individuals and corporations who “Save Our Seas”.
Looking forward to seeing you on October 25th aboard the Hornblower Infinity in New York!
