Eyesea rolls out next-generation app to map marine pollution in real time

Eyesea has launched a new pollution reporting and monitoring app, marking a significant step forward in the way the maritime sector tracks and responds to ocean pollution.

The platform combines real-time reporting from seafarers and coastal communities with advanced analytics, satellite spectrometry and geospatial tools to create a unified, global picture of marine environmental health. The app allows users to log pollution incidents instantly while backend systems analyze trends, identify high-risk zones and validate data using satellite intelligence.

Founder Graeme Somerville-Ryan described the launch as transformative, stating: “This launch represents a significant leap forward in how we understand and respond to ocean pollution.”
