Alaska Chadux̂ Network Earns NAMEPA’s Maritime Sustainability Passport – Dedication to oil spill prevention and response demonstrated
WESTON, CT - April 27, 2023 - NAMEPA’s (North American Marine Environment Protection Association) “Maritime Sustainability Passport” (MSP) Certificate and Seal has been awarded to member company, Alaska Chadux̂ Network (ACN), announced Carleen Lyden Walker, Co-Founder and CEO of NAMEPA. ACN received their MSP Certificate and Seal in recognition of their dedication to oil spill prevention and response. The MSP program encompasses each of NAMEPA’s six Transparency Pillars in its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) metrics. ACN’s clear dedication to marine environmental protection enabled their successful attainment of the MSP certification.

Oil spills remain one of the greatest environmental concerns in the maritime industry. ACN is the sixth company to successfully pass the NAMEPA MSP Program and qualify for the MSP and Seal, signifying the participant met or exceeded the program’s guidelines of best practices using ESG principles. In 2021, NAMEPA’s MSP Program was awarded the 2021 Green4Sea Initiative Award for its significant contributions in environmental advocacy. NAMEPA is extremely proud to be the first known standards program structured for the maritime industry and remains dedicated to its mission to "Save our Seas.”
