NAMEPA and EXP sign MOU – Partners to educate on the importance of the maritime industry
October 3, 2022: The North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) and EXP have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on providing educational programs to students, educators and communities about the importance of the maritime industry, protecting the marine environment, the value of the intersection of business and science, and career opportunities in the marine industry and beyond.
NAMEPA and EXP bring experience in delivering innovative programming connecting industry and schools to educate and provide opportunities to students to learn about the possibilities [of what?] These efforts will heighten public awareness about the marine industry, our marine environment, marine pollution prevention as well as promote job opportunities for youth throughout the industry.

NAMEPA joined GSP YOUR FUTURE presented by EXP at CSU Dominguez Hills on Friday, September 30th to help 500 high school students discover the varied possibilities for careers! Students visited with NAMEPA to hear about exciting career pathways in the marine sciences and maritime industries!
Based in Carson, CA, EXP prepares young people for a better life through innovative, career-readiness programs that help high school youth unlock doors, gain experience, and build confidence they need to succeed in school, career, and life.
